  • Requested the implementation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, promoting fiscal responsibility, transparency, and improved oversight.

  • Advocated for aesthetic and functional enhancements such as pedestrain-friendly streetscapes, vibrant outdoor activity spaces, and improved signage to stimulate economic growth and community engagement in the Historic Downtown District.

  • Advocated the effort to preserve the iconic Humiston Boardwalk by urging the City Manager to pursue funding from the Board of County Commissioners—an initiative that secured both public and private support, setting the city on track to restore and protect a cherished public asset.

  • Led the adoption of The 100 Percent Club, a proactive training initiative that equips city employees with the skills to identify and safely report suspected human trafficking.

  • Appointed qualified young adults with relevant expertise to serve on City Boards and Commissions, encouraging youth involvement in local governance.

  • Initiated a motion requiring all properties to connect to the STEP system by July 1, 2028 - a measure first introduced while serving on the Utilities Commission and later passed by the City Council.

  • Proactively addressed neighborhood disputes by personally engaging with residents and facilitating timely, solution-oriented dialogue.

  • Established “Public Input After Hours” providing residents who work during traditional business hours a new opportunity to voice concerns and participate in city decision-making.

  • Built a robust network in Tallahassee to represent and advocate for the interests of Vero Beach at the state level.
